Microsoft LifeCam Setup keeps restarting?

I recently bought a Microsoft LifeCam VX-2000 and whenever I put the CD in to install the needed software, but every time it starts installing and the bar that shows the progress gets full it restarts. It's been doing this for an hour or so now does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem? Thanks for your help ^^
