Ladies What Should I Do...(NAILS)?

I really want a french manicure with fake nails,but not too long.I usually don't wear fake nails and I usually just polish them myself,but I wanted to do something a little different.I don't know if I should go get them done nicely at the shop,or just buy some from a beauty store or something.What do you think?
