Brides - How did you do your nails for your wedding?

I would like to do a French manicure on my nails but I will use an opal (iridescent but clear) nail polish shade instead of the traditional beige or light pink. My nails are just past my finger tips (gel wraps). I would love to read how you did yours for your big day?
